Tips for a pleasant
flying experience:
Please keep all your travel documents (tickets, passport etc.) within
easy reach, as well as your travel insurance documentation.
Each flight between Europe and southern Africa will be a pleasant one
aboard AIR NAMIBIA. Shortly after departure we will serve dinner,
thereafter the cabin lights will be dimmed for the nightlight. Would
you like some entertainment, our extensive Video and Audio program is
available for all passengers.
For a relaxing flight we advise against tight clothing and to keep a
warm piece of clothing at hand. Some people might find the temperatures
on board rather cold.
We do encourage passengers to move around in the aeroplane. A short walk
every hour up and down the aisles will ensure adequate circulation.
We would also like to offer the following hints and exercises to ensure
a pleasant flight.
Whilst seated alternating lift your toes and your heals then curl
your toes as if to "grab" an object with your toes. Pinch a pillow
between your knees and repeatedly press your thighs together. By doing
this you are exercising muscles of the lower extremities and loin area,
thereby ensuring a good circulation. For further Information and tips
please consult your in-flight magazine the "Flamingo".
As the air on board is relatively dry, ensure your liquid intake is
higher than normal. Also take note that alcoholic drinks and coffee tend
to act as a diuretic, thereby lowering the bodies water reserves. To
limit the drying out of mucus membranes in your nose, make use of a
saline solution based nasal spray.
Non-smoking flights:
In line with most airline policies, and upon request
of most of our passengers, all AIR NAMIBIA flights are strictly no
smoking. We thank you for your understanding.
AIR NAMIBIA'S top priority is to
ensure that your stay onboard with us will be a pleasant and memorable
one.
