Namibia has 8 airport entry points having Immigration and Customs facilities
being: Grootfontein, Katima Mulilo (Mpacha) A Keetmanshoop, Ondangwa, Rundu, Walvis Bay,
Windhoek Eros Suburban and Windhoek Hosea Kutako International. The
latter presently being the only airport suitable for the landing of
large passenger aircraft.
(nb. Air Namibia have discontinued flights to Lüderitz &
Oranjemund)
From Europe:
Air Namibia
has 6 flights a week from Frankfurt AM Germany
Air Berlin has 2 flights a week from Munich
Germany.
Most major airlines fly into Cape Town or
Johannesburg, South Africa from where you have the option of
several Air Namibia or
South African Airways flights daily
into Windhoek International or Windhoek Eros, or Walvis
Bay.
From the Americas:
South
African Airways have several flights per week from
New York JFK and Washington IAD, Plus flights from Sao Paulo GRU and
Buenos Aires EXE
to Cape Town and Johannesburg from where you can get
interconnecting flights into Namibia
From the Far East:
Australia and New Zealand: South
African Airways have 2 flights per week from Perth and Sydney
Australia into Cape Town or
Johannesburg, from where you can board interconnecting flights to
Windhoek or Walvis Bay, Namibia
